Modern tech resort style amenities and views are back on trend in Australia

After the rush for space and low-density living during Covid’s peak, these new launches are tailored for buyers ready to return to luxe condos.
Any negativity around living in high-density dwellings in Australia during the height of the pandemic has been replaced by the desire for cutting-edge design, exceptional views and glamorous interiors.
These aren’t cookie-cutter condos, instead they feature five-star concierge services, private plunge pools and unique floor plans often larger than a typical Australian house.
With low supply of prestige property in almost every corner of the country, and a continued flow of foreign and returning expat investment into Australia, the upper end is weathering the storm better than the wider market.

Sharks grand final moment mural at Cronulla to be re-created in new VUE development

The Up Up Cronulla mural on a building wall, showing Paul Gallen and Andrew Ettingshausen in a tearful embrace after the Sharks’ 2016 NRL grand final win, will live on.
The street art will be digitally reproduced in a photo of the same size displayed inside the VUE development, which will be built on the site.
The image will be near the entrance to Harris Farm Markets, the major retail tenant.
“It will be plastered on the wall, replicated exactly,” said Allen Sammut, chief executive of developer Sammut Group.
How health and happiness is becoming big business in property

Buyers don’t just want somewhere to live, they want a property that will make them feel good as well.
Wellness lifestyle real estate is building momentum as a property category, adding up to a staggering $275 billion annual spend globally. And the feel-good factor is only set to grow to around $580 billion by 2025. Calculated by the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), a non profit organisation educating public and private sectors about preventative health and wellness, the group ranks Australia as the third largest market for wellness lifestyle real estate at $16.54 billion.
However “wellness” in the 2020s goes far beyond a token pool or dinky gym in the basement of a residential block. Today, health and wellbeing is being woven into the bricks and mortar of new buildings from the foundations of biophilic design to sophisticated facilities.
