Sammut Group’s $350 million mixed-use development Vue to change Cronulla CBD

Vue Cronulla Aerial

The 5,225 sqm development, called Vue, will also see 122 one, two and three bedroom apartments developed above the shopping centre. The Cronulla mall is set for a $350 million facelift, with the Sydney developer Sammut Group set to create a new mixed-use retail and residential precinct.

The mixed-use urban renewal project at the northern end of the Cronulla Mall, which the Sutherland Shire Council calls the Northern Gateway site, will see the old retail and commercial and retail space renovated and extended.

DA lodged for $350M Cronulla project

Vue Building Cronulla

A development application has been lodged for a $350 million mixed-use urban renewal project in Cronulla’s CBD. The proposal, submitted by Sydney-based Sammut Group, seeks to breathe new life into the retail/commercial Cronulla hub by transforming a block along the northern end of the mall.

Sammut has amalgamated all the properties on the proposed site, which includes a mixture of old retail and commercial premises known as the Northern Gateway site. It spans 5,225 square metres between Croydon Street and Abel Place, making it one of the largest commercial sites in a southern beachside suburb of Sydney.
